ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 24 -- United States Patent no. 12,559,604, issued on Feb. 24, was assigned to The Regents of the University of California (Oakland, Calif.).

"Biodegradable polymer-additive blends" was invented by Ting Xu (Berkeley, Calif.) and Christopher A. DelRe (Berkeley, Calif.).
