ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 11 -- United States Patent no. 12,544,575, issued on Feb. 10, was assigned to The Regents of the University of California (Oakland, Calif.) and NATIONAL CHENG KUNG UNIVERSITY (Tainan, Taiwan).

"Bioelectric neuromodulation for hematopoiesis regulation during chemotherapy" was invented by Wentai Liu (Los Angeles), Meng-Ru Shen (Tainan, Taiwan), Li-Hsien Chen (Tainan, Taiwan) and Ya-Ting Hsu (Kaohsiung, Taiwan).
