US Patent Issued to The Procter & Gamble on June 16 for "Process of sealing polyvinylalcohol films" (Belgian Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,655,371, issued on June 16, was assigned to The Procter & Gamble Co. (Cincinnati).

"Process of sealing polyvinylalcohol films" was invented by Miguel Brandt Sanz (Tervuren, Belgium) and Andrea Gabriele (Brussels).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A process for sealing a first water-soluble polyvinylalcohol film to a second water-soluble polyvinylalcohol film."
