ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 7 -- United States Patent no. 12,594,355, issued on April 7, was assigned to The Procter & Gamble Co. (Cincinnati).
"Freshening composition comprising bacterial spores" was invented by Neil Joseph Lant (Newcastle Upon Tyne, Great Britain) and Katherine Esther Latimer (Newcastle Upon Tyne, Great Britain).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A fabric freshening composition includes from about from about 1x102 to about 1x109CFU/g of the composition, of bacterial spores; and cyclodextrins."
