ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,600,928, issued on April 14, was assigned to The Procter & Gamble Co. (Cincinnati).
"Process for treating a fabric and related compositions" was invented by Sarah Ann Delaney (Hebron, Ky.), Sol Melissa Escobar (Mason, Ohio), Renae Dianna Fossum (Middletown, Ohio) and Mark Robert Sivik (Mason, Ohio).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Laundry additive compositions that include a metal sequestration agent and that may be characterized by an acidic pH. Related methods of treating a fabric, for example with a wash liquor and a rinse liquor, with such compositions and/or agents. Uses of such laundry additive compositions."
