US Patent Issued to The Kyjen on March 31 for "Multi-layered pet toy and method of making same" (Colorado Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 31 -- United States Patent no. 12,588,659, issued on March 31, was assigned to The Kyjen Co. LLC (Centennial, Colo.).

"Multi-layered pet toy and method of making same" was invented by Danielle Salyer (Denver), Meghan Higgins (Denver) and Lynn Rosen (Parker, Colo.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A method of manufacturing a multi-layered pet toy includes assembling at least one panel by coupling a heat resistant lining to an outer layer and injection molding an inner layer to the heat resistant lining."

The patent was filed on Feb. 14, 2025, under Application No. 19/054,263.
