ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,552,987, issued on Feb. 17, was assigned to The Florida State University Research Foundation Inc. (Tallahassee, Poland).

"Organic metal halide hybrid scintillators and methods of making" was invented by Biwu Ma (Tallahassee, Fla.) and Tarannuma Ferdous Manny (Tallahassee, Fla.).
