US Patent Issued to The Coca-Cola on Oct. 27 for "Mogrosides, compositions and their purification" (Georgia, Arizona Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 27 -- United States Patent no. 12,774,301, issued on Oct. 27, was assigned to The Coca-Cola Co. (Atlanta).

"Mogrosides, compositions and their purification" was invented by Indra Prakash (Alpharetta, Ga.) and Venkata Sai Prakash Chaturvedula (Gilbert, Ariz.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Novel mogrosides and methods for heir purification are provided herein. In addition, compositions comprising said novel mogrosides and methods for preparing the same are provided."

The patent was filed on Feb. 13, 2024, under Application No. 18/440,589.
