ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,601,088, issued on April 14, was assigned to The Brigham and Women's Hospital Inc. (Boston) and President and Fellows of Harvard College (Cambridge, Mass.).
"Detection of an antibody against a pathogen" was invented by Stephen J. Elledge (Brookline, Mass.), Harry B. Larman (San Diego), Tomasz Kula (Brookline, Mass.) and George Xu (Fremont, Calif.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Provided herein are methods of detecting an antibody directed against a pathogen and uses thereof."
The patent was filed on Jan. 25, 2022, under Application No. 17/583,947.
