ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 3 -- United States Patent no. 12,403,582, issued on Sept. 2, was assigned to The Boeing Co. (Arlington, Va.).

"Housing assembly for selectively receiving a part and a method of removing particles from a frictional surface of a pad" was invented by Ryan Walter Throckmorton (Seattle) and Matthew Earl Fife (Everett, Wash.).
