ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,657,448, issued on June 16, was assigned to The Boeing Co. (Arlington, Va.).

"Neuromorphic architectures, actuators, and related methods" was invented by Shahriar Khosravani (Everett, Wash.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A neuromorphic architecture is formed from a laminate of non-woven carbon fiber reinforced polymer layers arranged in a plurality of different directions.
