ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 24 -- United States Patent no. 12,558,458, issued on Feb. 24, was assigned to The Board of Trustees of the Leland Stanford Junior University (Stanford, Calif.), The United States Government as Represented by the Department of Veteran Affairs (Washington) and The Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois (Urbana, Ill.).

"Targeted in situ therapeutic delivery of secreted factors from stem cells for treatment of damaged tissue" was invented by David Myung (Menlo Park, Calif.), Gabriella Fernandes-Cunha (Redwood City, Calif.), Hyun Jong Lee (Redwood City, Calif.) and Ali Djalilian (Redwood City, Calif.).
