ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 28 -- United States Patent no. 12,535,576, issued on Jan. 27, was assigned to The Board of Regents of the Nevada System of Higher Education on Behalf of the Desert Research Institute (Reno, Nev.).

"Atmospheric optical distortion correcting system and method" was invented by David L. Decker (Reno, Nev.), Eric Wilcox (Reno, Nev.) and David McGraw (Reno, Nev.).
