ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 24 -- United States Patent no. 12,587,691, issued on March 24, was assigned to Thales Avionics Inc. (Irvine, Calif.).

"Inflight entertainment system providing security for mobile peripheral devices onboard aircraft" was invented by Kevin Judd (Irvine, Calif.), Ton Do (Corona, Calif.) and Michail Reznik (San Clemente, Calif.).
