ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,654,505, issued on June 16, was assigned to Tesla Inc. (Austin, Texas).
"Suspension actuator system for a vehicle" was invented by Brian Lee Doorlag (Pleasanton, Calif.), Avraham Kagan (Oakland, Calif.) and Justin Sill (Cupertino, Calif.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Embodiments relate to a suspension actuator system for a vehicle that includes an active control element, a passive control element and an adaptive damper which are mounted in series with one another along with a parallel spring."
