US Patent Issued to Terra Nova Nurseries on Aug. 4 for "Liatris plant named 'White Feather'" (Oregon Inventor)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 5 -- United States Patent no. PP37,556, issued on Aug. 4, was assigned to Terra Nova Nurseries Inc. (Canby, Ore.).

"Liatris plant named 'White Feather'" was invented by Harini Korlipara (Tualatin, Ore.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A new and distinct Liatris cultivar named 'White Feather' distinguished by a compact branching habit, high number of bright white inflorescences, and first year blooming."

The patent was filed on Dec. 22, 2025, under Application No. 19/429,837.
