US Patent Issued to Tencent America on May 12 for "History-based motion vector prediction" (California, Pennsylvania Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., May 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,627,809, issued on May 12, was assigned to Tencent America LLC (Palo Alto, Calif.).

"History-based motion vector prediction" was invented by Xiaozhong Xu (State College, Pa.), Xiang Li (Saratoga, Calif.) and Shan Liu (San Jose, Calif.).
