US Patent Issued to Techtronic Floor Care Technology on June 23 for "Floor cleaner with a low power mode" (North Carolina Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,660,970, issued on June 23, was assigned to Techtronic Floor Care Technology Ltd. (Tortola, British Virgin Islands).

"Floor cleaner with a low power mode" was invented by Nicholas DeBlasio (Waxhaw, N.C.), Rafael Davila (Kannapolis, N.C.), Donovan Bode (Charlotte, N.C.) and Douglas Rukavina (Concord, N.C.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present disclosure relates to a battery powered floor cleaner (10). The floor cleaner (10) is operable in various modes based on the capacity of a battery pack (22), such as a normal power mode (40) and a low power mode (42)."

The patent was filed on Aug. 2, 2021, under Application No. 18/007,437.
