ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 31 -- United States Patent no. 12,590,116, issued on March 31, was assigned to Tate & Lyle Solutions USA LLC (Hoffman Estates, Ill.).
"Method for producing allulose crystals" was invented by Krishnan Viswanathan Iyer (Champaign, Ill.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Allulose crystals are efficiently produced from an allulose syrup using seed crystals."
