ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,753,346, issued on Oct. 6, was assigned to Talipot Cool Extract (IP) LLC (La Jolla, Calif.).
"Control of pyrolysis conditions and feedstock for the production of desirable compounds" was invented by Matthew William Smith (Camarillo, Calif.), Haijun Wan (Camarillo, Calif.) and Kevin Daniel Dolinar (Ventura, Calif.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A method for increasing the production of desired inorganic or organic compounds, including soluble signaling compounds, from the pyrolysis of biomass is provided comprising the steps of: (i) obtaining a biomass source; (ii) pyrolyzing the biomass source at various temperatures between 400-600deg C....
