ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 2 -- United States Patent no. 12,488,821, issued on Dec. 2, was assigned to Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. Ltd. (Hsinchu, Taiwan).

"Semiconductor device including reference cells and a method of operating thereof" was invented by Po-Hao Lee (Hsinchu, Taiwan), Yi-Chun Shih (Taipei, Taiwan), Chia-Fu Lee (Hsinchu, Taiwan) and Yu-Der Chih (Hsin-Chu, Taiwan).
