US Patent Issued to Syngenta Crop Protection on Sept. 16 for "Leucanthemum plant named 'LEUZ0008'" (Dutch Inventor)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 17 -- United States Patent no. PP36,959, issued on Sept. 16, was assigned to Syngenta Crop Protection AG (Basel, Switzerland).

"Leucanthemum plant named 'LEUZ0008'" was invented by Monique Juist (Enkhuizen, Netherlands).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A new Leucanthemum plant named 'LEUZ0008' particularly distinguished by its floriferousness, early flowering, a white flower color, compact growth habit and big flowers."

The patent was filed on Sept. 20, 2024, under Application No. 18/831,214.
