ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,667,070, issued on June 30, was assigned to Syngenta Crop Protection AG (Basel, Switzerland).

"Soybean variety CL2044273" was invented by Joseph William Strottman (Slater, Iowa) and Brian Scott Erdahl (Clinton, Ill.).
