ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,550,897, issued on Feb. 17, was assigned to SYNGENTA CROP PROTECTION AG (Basel, Switzerland).
"Post-harvest fungicidal uses" was invented by Christopher Glen Clemens (Richland, Wash.), Nagarajan Ramalingam (Greensboro, N.C.) and Heather Sabina Benik (Visalia, Calif.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Methods of post-harvest protection by spraying a harvested crop of sugar beets, potatoes, or corm vegetables with a composition comprising fludioxonil and azoxystrobin, wherein the only active ingredients in the composition fludioxonil and azoxystrobin."
The patent was filed on Dec. 1, 2021, under Application No. 17/539,771.
