ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 11 -- United States Patent no. PP37,261, issued on Feb. 10, was assigned to Syngenta Crop Protection AG (Basel, Switzerland).
"Begonia plant named 'BEYZ0007'" was invented by Cathy Knoblauch (Whitecourt, Canada).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A new Begonia plant named 'BEYZ0007' having compact, symmetrical branching, double coral pink flowers that bloom naturally from spring to fall and has dark mahogany foliage with bright green veins."
The patent was filed on Aug. 22, 2025, under Application No. 19/307,610.
