US Patent Issued to SUNGKWANG MEDICAL FOUNDATION on April 14 for "Replication-competent recombinant herpes simplex virus type 1 (HSV-1) comprising deletions in the ICP6 and IR regions" (South Korean Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,600,955, issued on April 14, was assigned to SUNGKWANG MEDICAL FOUNDATION (Seoul, South Korea).

"Replication-competent recombinant herpes simplex virus type 1 (HSV-1) comprising deletions in the ICP6 and IR regions" was invented by Kyung Ju Choi (Seongnam-si, South Korea) and Joo Hang Kim (Seongnam-si, South Korea).
