ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 28 -- United States Patent no. 12,691,068, issued on July 28, was assigned to Sun Vax mRNA Therapeutics Inc. (Beverly, Mass.).

"Modular lipid compounds and two- to three-component lipid nanoparticle compositions" was invented by Libin Zhang (Lynnfield, Mass.) and Yingzhong Li (Reading, Mass.).
