US Patent Issued to Sumitomo Wiring Systems on March 3 for "Fixing mechanism and electrical junction box" (Japanese Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 3 -- United States Patent no. 12,565,907, issued on March 3, was assigned to Sumitomo Wiring Systems Ltd. (Yokkaichi, Japan).

"Fixing mechanism and electrical junction box" was invented by Kiyofumi Kawaguchi (Yokkaichi, Japan) and Takumi Ejima (Yokkaichi, Japan).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A mount provided with a nut includes at least one pair of pinchers that pinch the nut, in which the paired pinchers are disposed to oppose each other and are deformable in an opposing direction thereof."
