ALEXANDRIA, Va., May 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,630,283, issued on May 19, was assigned to SUBARU Corp. (Tokyo).
"Inflatable structure" was invented by Shunichiro Hara (Tokyo) and Takeshi Fukurose (Tokyo).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An inflatable structure includes an inflatable bag and a telescopically extendable strut. The strut is disposed in the bag."
The patent was filed on May 1, 2025, under Application No. 19/196,195.
