ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 7 -- United States Patent no. 12,597,033, issued on April 7, was assigned to Stripe Inc. (South San Francisco, Calif.).

"Machine learning for fraud preventation across payment types" was invented by Anthony Pianta (Washington), Peter Lofgren (Palo Alto, Calif.) and Ketan Singh (Sunnyvale, Calif.).
