US Patent Issued to STOCKTON PRODUCTS on June 23 for "Frame backing panel" (California Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,662,811, issued on June 23, was assigned to STOCKTON PRODUCTS (Las Vegas).

"Frame backing panel" was invented by Angelberto Torres (La Puente, Calif.) and James Ellarbee Stafford (Oakley, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A backing panel includes a first stud interfacing portion for nesting in a first stud and a second stud interfacing portion for coupling with a second stud, such that a web surface of the backing panel is flush with a surface of the first stud and a surface of the second stud."
