ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,581,226, issued on March 17, was assigned to Starkey Laboratories Inc. (Eden Prairie, Minn.).

"Ear-wearable device with active noise cancellation system that uses internal and external microphones" was invented by Terence Betlehem (Eden Prairie, Minn.) and Wenyu Jin (Eden Prairie, Minn.).
