ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,659,711, issued on June 16, was assigned to Starkey Laboratories Inc. (Eden Prairie, Minn.).

"Responding to and assisting during medical emergency event using data from ear-wearable devices" was invented by Paul Anders Shriner (Hopkins, Minn.) and Gregory John Haubrich (Champlin, Minn.).
