ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 7 -- United States Patent no. 12,597,513, issued on April 7, was assigned to ST FamTech LLC (Delray Beach, Fla.).
"Method and device for audio recording" was invented by Steven W. Goldstein (Delray Beach, Fla.), John Usher (Devon, Great Britain) and Marc Andre Boillot (Plantation, Fla.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An earpiece, with two ambient sound microphones and an ear canal microphone detects whether the user is speaking and if so then detects an event, saving audio to memory."
The patent was filed on Sept. 26, 2023, under Application No. 18/372,697.
