ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 23 -- United States Patent no. 12,503,198, issued on Dec. 23, was assigned to Specialized Bicycle Components Inc. (Morgan Hill, Calif.).
"Fastener arrangement on bicycle" was invented by Jonas Reiter (Zug, Switzerland).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An e-bike includes a frame assembly, wheels supporting the frame assembly, a motor assembly coupled to the frame assembly by a motor fastener having a hollow portion, and an accessory component coupled to the frame assembly by an accessory fastener positioned at least partially in the hollow portion of the motor fastener."
