ALEXANDRIA, Va., May 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,629,425, issued on May 19, was assigned to SONY GROUP Corp. (Tokyo).

"Progammable polymeric drugs" was invented by Tracy Matray (Snohomish, Wash.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Compounds useful as biologically active compounds are disclosed. The compounds have the following structure (I):or a stereoisomer, tautomer or salt thereof, wherein R1, R2, R3, L, L1, L2, L3, L4, M, m and n are as defined herein. Methods associated with preparation and use of such compounds is also provided."

The patent was filed on Feb. 28, 2024, under Application No. 18/590,455.
