ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,501,340, issued on Dec. 16, was assigned to Sonos Inc. (Goleta, Calif.).

"Data routing between devices in mesh networks" was invented by Jeffrey M. Peters (Cambridge, Mass.), Steven Beckhardt (Boston), Hrishikesh Gossain (Barbara, Calif.) and Nicholas A. J. Millington (Santa Barbara, Calif.).
