ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,600,940, issued on April 14, was assigned to Solar Foods Oyj (Vantaa, Finland).

"Strains and processes for single cell protein or biomass production" was invented by Sami Holmstrom (Espoo, Finland) and Juha-Pekka Pitkanen (Vantaa, Finland).
