US Patent Issued to SOCIETE BIC on June 30 for "Peelable ink composition with color-changing for porous substrates" (French Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,668,710, issued on June 30, was assigned to SOCIETE BIC (Clichy Cedex, France).

"Peelable ink composition with color-changing for porous substrates" was invented by Carine Bethouart (Clichy, France) and Aurore Sauvage (Clichy, France).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An aqueous peelable ink composition with color-changing comprises: at least one film-forming elastomeric polymer, at least one polyoxyethylene sorbitan ester, at least one dye, at least one pigment, and water, wherein the film-forming elastomeric polymer (a) is acrylonitrile butadiene rubber (NBR) and/or hydrogenated acrylonitrile butadiene rubber (HNBR)."
