ALEXANDRIA, Va., May 26 -- United States Patent no. 12,637,489, issued on May 26, was assigned to Singular Genomics Systems Inc. (San Diego).
"Silicon containing modified nucleotide analogs" was invented by Ronald Graham (Carlsbad, Calif.) and Zachary Terranova (San Diego).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Disclosed herein, inter alia, are silicon containing cleavable linkers and compounds for use in nucleic acid sequencing."
