ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 7 -- United States Patent no. 12,674,194, issued on July 7, was assigned to Singular Genomics Systems Inc. (San Diego).
"In situ nucleic acid amplification" was invented by Daan Witters (San Diego), Allen Lipson (San Diego) and Eli N. Glezer (Del Mar, Calif.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Disclosed herein, inter alia, are novel methods pertaining to nucleic acid amplification and sequencing. Compositions for use in and produced by such methods are also provided."
The patent was filed on March 25, 2022, under Application No. 17/704,895.
