ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,578,439, issued on March 17, was assigned to SiLC Technologies Inc. (Monrovia, Calif.).

"Increasing resolution in imaging systems" was invented by Mehdi Asghari (La Canada Flintridge, Calif.) and Nirmal Chindhu Warke (Saratoga, Calif.).
