ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,671,941, issued on June 30, was assigned to Shure Acquisition Holdings Inc. (Niles, Ill.).

"Analysis and optimization of an audio signal" was invented by Michael Shane Nagel (Skokie, Ill.), Bryan Lee Jozwiak (Bartlett, Ill.), Matthew John McCracken (Lombard, Ill.), June Won (Chicago), Dean Komrska (Buffalo Grove, Ill.), Soren Christian Pedersen (Chicago) and Ross Penniman (Morton Grove, Ill.).
