US Patent Issued to SHIMANO on July 28 for "Lure" (Japanese Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 28 -- United States Patent no. 12,690,573, issued on July 28, was assigned to SHIMANO INC. (Sakai City, Japan).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A lure 1 includes a body 3, a support 5, and a weight 7. The body 3 includes a head 13a in its front portion and a tail 13b in its rear portion. The support 5 extends in the front-rear direction inside the body 3. The weight 7 is supported by the support 5 so as to be movable in the front-rear direction. At least part of the weight 7 is movable in a transverse direction that intersects with the front-rear direction."
