ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 2 -- United States Patent no. 12,642,403, issued on June 2, was assigned to SharkNinja Operating LLC (Needham, Mass.).

"Robotic cleaner" was invented by Alexander S. Hill (Surrey, Great Britain).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A robotic cleaner may include a suction motor, a dust cup, and a suction motor air duct fluidly coupled to the suction motor and the dust cup. The suction motor air duct may include a debris barrier having a restricting region and a guard region."
