ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,601,183, issued on April 14, was assigned to SFS Group Fastening Technology Ltd. (Welwyn Garden City, Great Britain).
"Thermal insulation pad" was invented by David Fraser (Welwyn Garden City, Great Britain), Ben Kemp (Welwyn Garden City, Great Britain) and Oscar Gleave (Glasgow, Great Britain).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A thermal insulation pad is for attachment between a bracket and substructure in a building cladding assembly.
