US Patent Issued to Seiko Epson on Oct. 6 for "Recording device" (Japanese Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,752,557, issued on Oct. 6, was assigned to Seiko Epson Corp. (Tokyo).

"Recording device" was invented by Yoshihisa Saka (Shiojiri, Japan) and Yoshinori Yanagisawa (Shiojiri, Japan).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A recording device includes a recording unit configured to perform recording on a medium and a housing configured to accommodate the recording unit. The housing includes a frame and a bottom portion attached to the frame. The bottom portion includes a first bottom portion fixed to the frame and a second bottom portion detachably fixed to the frame."

The patent was filed on Feb. 14, 2024, under Application No. 18/441,430.
