ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 3 -- United States Patent no. 12,542,162, issued on Feb. 3, was assigned to Seagate Technology LLC (Fremont, Calif.).

"Crash stop that includes silicone rubber for a data storage device, and related articles, systems, and methods" was invented by Michael Yi Zhao Yao (Singapore), Lihong Zhang (Singapore), Chee Yin Chan (Singapore) and Daniel R. Stevens (Longmont, Colo.).
