ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 3 -- United States Patent no. 12,565,795, issued on March 3, was assigned to Schlage Lock Co. LLC (Carmel, Ind.).

"Electromechanical lockset" was invented by James D. Ohl (Colorado Springs, Colo.), Richard A. White (Carmel, Ind.), Joseph W. Baumgarte (Carmel, Ind.), Ryan C. Kincaid (Indianapolis), Matthew Dexter (Indianapolis) and John Evenson (Greentown, Ind.).
