US Patent Issued to SAUDI ARABIAN OIL on Nov. 3 for "Method for synthesis of nano-sized zeolite Y" (Saudi Arabia Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 3 -- United States Patent no. 12,780,674, issued on Nov. 3, was assigned to SAUDI ARABIAN OIL COMPANY (Dhahran, Saudi Arabia).

"Method for synthesis of nano-sized zeolite Y" was invented by Lianhui Ding (Dhahran, Saudi Arabia), Faisal Alotaibi (Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia) and Mohammad F Aljishi (Dhahran, Saudi Arabia).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present disclosure is directed to methods of zeolite Y synthesis. Two-stage temperature crystallization methods are employed to synthesize nano-sized zeolite Y that possesses improved crystallinity, surface area, and pore volume compared to zeolite Y produced using alternative methods."
